Year 12 is in the books. Coach Raney considers this “by far our best season yet!” This weekend, the girls attended the 2017 WiAA state Track Meet. They didn’t just attend, they killed it. Four MHS records were broken. Uh huh, these girls broke four school records. The events in which the ladies dominated included: the 200, the 4×1, the 4×2, and the 3200m. Not only did these ladies break school records, but they also made the podium. The 4x200m placed 3rd with a time of 1:41.71, the 4×100 relay team placed 3rd with a time of 48.78 and Kate Jochims, whom we featured in another article, took 6th place in the mile and 3rd place in the 3200. These results are outstanding. Congratulations ladies, and congratulations Coach Raney.
