Successful State-Bound FBLA Members!
February 23, 2019
Bright and early on a February Saturday, Muskego FBLA members competed at the Wisconsin FBLA Regional Competition. They had a fun and engaging day of working on their competitive events, listening to workshop presenters and guest speakers, collaborating with other area FBLA members, as well as bringing home success and recognition to Muskego FBLA.
In terms of success, Muskego FBLA experienced several favorable outcomes. This year, Faith Kierzek, a sophmore and membership director for the local chapter, ran for a state officer position. After giving a impressive speech and a day full of campaigning, Faith was elected the Region 7 Vice President for Wisconsin FBLA. By being elected to this position, Faith will have to opportunity to collaborate with the FBLA state board and other regional vice presidents in the coming year. She will also have to responsibility to hold next year’s Regionals here at MHS. Congratulations to Faith and her success!
Muskego High School FBLA also received recognition by being presented with second place Outstanding Region 7 FBLA Chapter Award. They also received third place in the Regional Community Service Award. The local chapter would like to thank the staff and student body here at MHS for supporting and donating to the various service events that they hold around the school, making it possible for them to receive this award.
