The MHS Girls’ cheer team had a huge success this year by becoming state champions not once, but twice in one weekend! After performing one last time for our school on March 1st, the team of seventeen was off to LaCrosse to compete the State Competition the following weekend. They dominated the floor all weekend long, coming in first in Cheer Dance as well as in All-Girl Large Division.  Congrats to the team’s four seniors, Kylee Patin, Becca Fischer, Rachel Mackey, and Jordan Tyczkowski, for making their last season an unforgettable one. Also, shoutout to senior Rachel Makey for earning All-State! These girls worked hard for hours on end all season long to achieve such a great feat, so everyone at here MHS should be overwhelming proud of these girls for achieving so much! A special thanks to all the coaches and parents for supporting these girls and helping them throughout their remarkable journey to the state competition floor. That’s a wrap on the 2018 girls’ cheer season, but with such great accomplishments now behind them, we can only imagine what they will achieve in years to come. Go Warriors!
