The boy’s swim season has started out with a splash. The swim team has won 2 of their first 3 meets, losing only to Arrowhead in a tough competition. The team is lead by an outstanding group of seniors including Andrew Buelow, Connor Andrew’s, Ryan Fisher, Caleb Golden, Austin Hewitt, Casey Wisniewski, Dylan Janowski, Mark Hanneman, Ben Elert, and Noah Gibbs. With plenty of young talent, this determined team, led by the seniors, works hard in practice everyday to improve their strokes. Most kids spend extra time in the pool before and after school, in the weight room, or conditioning themselves to reach the best of their ability. Only great things can come from this much heart in a sport. Andrew Buelow stated with passion, “The season just started, but I can already tell there are going to be good things in store for the future.” This elite group is made of many future state qualifiers, including Junior Jack Rohlinger who put in a lot of work in the off season to stand out. The boy’s team will be participating in conference relays today, December 9th at Menomonee Falls, and have a dual meet next Thursday at Waukesha North; remember to come out and cheer on your warriors! Goodluck boy’s swim!
