Show up ready to eat great food along with a little bit of dancing and entertainment. Get ready Juniors and Seniors for this year’s 2021 prom with the theme of Mama Mia!
The Muskego prom will be held on Saturday, April 17, 2021 at the Brookfield Conference Center (325 S Mo
orland Road in Brookfield). There will be no transportation provided this year. 5:30 pm check in at Brookfield Conference Center. 6:15 dinner followed by entertainment/games/prizes.
The ticket cost is $55.00 per individual. Ticket sales begin on Monday, March 22nd and will end after school on Friday, April 9th. Tickets are being sold before and after school in the cafeteria. Those who plan on attending the prom shall have a signed contract that must be turned in to purchase a prom ticket.
This year’s dinner is a choice of Braised Beef Short Ribs or Pan Seared Boneless Chicken Breast, Salad, rolls, garlic mashed potatoes, green beans, and a triple chocolate fudge cake for dessert. For those who are concerned about these options because of allergies or diet there will be a vegetarian option along with a gluten free option.
Kate Lett from student council had some things to say about the prom, “I honestly believe that prom is going to be the best that it can be. Since both Juniors and Seniors have not yet experienced a prom this is no expectation coming into the dance which I believe is an advantage. I know some will have a bad attitude about having to wear masks as well as having no dance floor, but I do believe that there are many activities that are set up that will be really fun for everyone. “
Adding on she also said, “Plus there is also entertainment coming which is exciting. I think that the student council did their best to make it the best experience possible considering the circumstances.”
Overall, this year’s prom will definitely be different from previous years. The legendary dancing will only be for 15 minutes and the students attending will be required to wear a facemask. The facemask will be off during the dinner. The tables will be six feet apart and the tables will have a selected number of six per table.
