Next Thursday, January 15, 2021, our boy’s basketball team goes up against the Kettle Moraine Lasers. Last year, our team beat them 47-46 and lost to them 63-56. Will we be able to beat them one more time and get another win for our warriors?

Under the circumstances of this year due to COVID, the team will be “keeping their heads up and rolling through it”, says forward Hunter Wohler, a senior this year.

According to head coach Capes, we have a strong team this year and great captains, which makes for fairly competitive games all season. Although our teams have always been pretty competitive, our seniors this year are strong players and everyone else feeds off of that energy.

At this point in the season, we have a 5-2 record, winning against Arrowhead, Waukesha North, Waukesha South, Mukwonago, and Catholic Memorial, and unfortunately losing to Oconomowoc and Franklin. Still, our team continues to keep their heads up high and spirits lifted and continue to play.

Because of quarantining this year, the team has a next-man-up mentality, which is the idea that everyone will have to step up in case something were to happen to any of our players.

Speaking for everyone, we are very proud of all of our players for staying safe during this season and doing very well this year through everything.
