Julia Wendland, Author

Julia Wendland is an author for the Muskego High School Newspaper Club. Julia is a part of the class of 2020 which makes her a junior this 2018-2019 year. She joined Newspaper Club in sophomore year allowing for a year of full participation. This is her second continuous year in Newspaper Club. Newspaper is an extracurricular activity allowing her to do what she enjoys the most, writing. This club has allowed her to see high school and students through a different perspective. Another reason this club is so beneficial is due to the fact that she is introduced to all sides of every sport which she normally wouldn’t have known. Newspaper is a great way to get involved in the school and the community. This club is a way to become involved and get a piece of individual writing out to the public. She is an active participant in student council, psych club and spanish club. Julia holds the attendance position on the executive board of student council and is the junior class vice president for student council. Along with this leadership role, Julia is the treasurer of the Psych Club. She was a mentor in warriors 101 sophomore and junior year allowing her to become involved with the incoming freshmen. She also dances at a studio competitively year-round. For fun, Julia enjoys reading books and listening to music.
