Art on Display

Art+on+Display

Over 200 works of art displayed from grades 5-12.  On Thursday March 17th the art department had their opening walk throught for students and their art.  The art was displayed March 19th-22nd, 2:30-6:30 pm and March 24th 12:30-4:00 in the PAC.  This year the art show which is typically displayed in the Muskego Public Library is now being shown in the PAC.  The purpose of this showing was to display the artwork that has been created over the course of the year and it allows for family and friends to see your work, you can walk through and see the art.  There was a wide variety of art being shown from paintings to sculptures to jewelry.  Mrs. Koch says “The artwork that is showcased is the ‘best of the best’. We try to select work from students who are hardworking, talented, and who have made strides to improve themselves through their artwork.”  When asking Mrs. Koch her favorite part of the art show she says “My favorite part about the art show is being able to celebrate students’ excellence and of course meeting friends and family members. It is my time to brag about how amazing my students are!”
