Upcoming Warrior Family Week

Alexis Shannon

Student Council is proud to present that this year, prior to the winter dance, will be a week full of activities that will all benefit both the warrior family and the current sophomore class’ prom in 2019. The week, beginning on Monday, February 12th, will be set off with messy lunch activities at all lunches.

  • On Wednesday, February 14th, various students from student council will be handing out flowers and chocolates that people can sign up to send to others anonymously.
  • Thursday, February 15th, Muskego will be hosting both the boys’ (7 pm) and girls’ (5:45 pm) varsity basketball games against Kettle Moraine. At this game, someone from the stands will be randomly chosen to be given the opportunity to shoot a basket to win $10,000.
  • On that Friday, there will be a broomball tournament at Idle Isle Park. Students are encouraged to sign up with their friends as a team and participate in the tournament. Cash prizes will be rewarded to the winning team, and there will be free hot chocolate and s’mores for everyone who comes.
  • The final day, Saturday, February 17th, is the winter dance. Unlike in the past few years, this dance is being designed to be more similar to homecoming as everyone is welcome, and it is not specifically a couples’ dance or sadies. In addition to this, a full playlist with the songs that will be played at the dance will be available before people even have to purchase tickets.

To sign up for any of these events or purchase tickets, please refer to emails from Mr. Czech where you can pay online or through forms that will be handed out during specific classes. Furthermore, there are various discounts available if students purchase multiple tickets for different events.
