“Best Buddies is an amazing club to join because it is based on friendship, inclusion, and fun!” exclaimed Ms. Pyne and Mrs. Mazza. On November 11th, the Best Buddies club traveled to Elegant Farmer for a cold day filled with adventures. Seventy-four people attended this event with smiles on their faces and warmth in their hearts.
The day consisted of hayrides, corn mazes, pumpkin picking, and foods for the season. Out of these activities, “The most enjoyable part of the day was the hayride itself,” Ms. Pyne and Mrs. Mazza. While the hayride was the most most for everyone, almost all of the buddies had a great experience running in the corn maze multiple times! Although the day was a bit cold, the buddies that were available to come to the event had a great time. Best Buddies does events with one-on-one camaraderies throughout the entire school year that help to “break through social barriers,” Ms. Pyne and Mrs. Mazza.
