Everyone is excited for this year’s musical: West Side Story.  Students from freshmen year up until senior year are signed up and ready to audition for this modern love story.  They all work at learning the dance routine for the audition and practice singing for the music directors. So far, everyone did really well with both, and they are ready for the final check, callbacks.  “Callbacks don’t show who made it to the musical, but who might make specific parts in the musical, which those people would need to come back in order to test that particular part.”  One of the music directors, Mr. Wanner, reassures those who are doing the musical that if they don’t see their name on the list, that doesn’t mean that their dream is crushed.  Keep up the good work and maybe, just maybe, they would be in the spotlight and singing or dancing their hearts and souls out.
