Kaitlin Foley, Senior Editor
Kaitlin, class of 2019, has written for the Warrior’s Word for three years. She will be serving as the Senior Editor for the 2018-19 school year. She enjoys being participating in newspaper because of great connections she has made with her fellow authors. She loves the fun and easy-going atmosphere that all the members help create; she is happy about the relationships she has a established as a result of joining this club. She also appreciates that the club prepares her for her future, allowing her to explore potential interests and paths while still remaining a high school student. She also enjoys that it gives her an opportunity to write outside of the typical classroom setting, offering a different atmosphere for feedback and betterment in terms of her writing. By writing various articles and features for the newspaper, Kaitlin is given the opportunity to learn more about her school and help inform the student body as a whole. Others should join for all these reasons, and more! Being a part of the Warrior’s Word is not only great for applications, it is a truly fun and awesome experience to have while still in high school. You get to attend engaging meetings, come to fun holiday parties, make great new friends, and write about subjects that interest you. It’s a great way to get involved! Kaitlin is also involved in FBLA, yearbook, psychology club, National Honor Society, and Business National Honor Society. She also participates in various service projects outside of school. Writing has always been an important part of Kaitlin’s life, and she is very happy to have an outlet for that passion in the Warrior's Word. She is excited to be serving as your Senior Editor for the 2018-19 school year!
