ATTENTION ALL SENIORS!!! Represent U Tuesday, June 6

This year, we are hoping to start a new tradition at MHS: Represent U day. On the Tuesday of second-semester finals, the seniors are invited to wear a shirt that represents their next chapter (college/university, military, tech school, cosmetology school, apprenticeship program, place of employment, etc.). Other schools within the area have been doing this tradition for years. Mrs. Aide’s niece, who is pumped to finally wear her shirt, said “it was always so cool seeing where all the seniors were heading after graduation.” Mrs. Aide, along with many other teachers, thinks it’ll be a great sight for our underclassmen to see as well.
Additionally, MHS will switch up our “college wear day” for all staff. Staff, please wear your college wear Tuesday instead, OR you can wear shirts from jobs you held previously, camp t-shirts, the military or training opportunities you attended. Let’s show our kids what’s out there for them!
So please join in the spirit of the day to demonstrate to our students the endless possibilities for their futures! If you could help spread the word by printing the flyer (check your email), writing it on your board, or just announcing it in class, it would be much appreciated.
